Adaptable, Lean Manufacturing Processes
Thomson BSA practices one-piece flow manufacturing, so every lead screw and ball screw is completed individually, meaning we can easily do single-screw prototypes. We also use a rolling process to form every lead screw and many series of ball screw. This manufacturing concept means that it only takes slightly longer than the actual fabrication time to setup and process your prototypes. Experienced Engineering Staff Our engineering staff can take any drawing and create a ball screw or lead screw prototype. For a modified standard ball screw or lead screw design, the turnaround time can be as short as the next day, with average times at about four days. Even completely custom ball screw and lead screw prototypes can generally be completed within two weeks, compared to an average of eight weeks throughout the industry.
